Luís Campos Ferreira

Consultant and Coordinator of A&A in international affairs and foreign investment.

General Director and Vice-President of McCann Erikson Portugal between 1994 and 2001
He was the coordinator of the Seminar on Media Law of the Porto Catholic University Faculty of Law.
Member of the Portuguese Parliament from 2002 to 2013 and 2015 to 2019. During these mandates, he served as Vice-Chair of the GP/PSD political group of MPs, President of the Parliamentary Committee for Economy and Public Works;
Chair of the Parliamentary Subcommittee on Fundamental Rights and Media;
Coordinator of GP/PSD of the Parliamentary Committee of National Defence and member (alternate) of the Higher Board of Information. He was also chairman of the board of directors of the parliamentary TV channel (ARTV).
From 2002 to 2006, he was Director of the “Povo Livre” newspaper.
From 2003 to 2005, he was Deputy Secretary General of the PSD party.
Vice-Chair of Instituto Francisco Sá Carneiro between 2015 and 2017.
Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation between 2013 and 2015, in the XIX and XX constitutional governments.
Member of the Council of Europe from 2006 to 2014 and former member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
He is currently a commentator on political affairs on the CMTV channel and he writes articles for the Correio da Manhã newspaper.
He is a member of the corporate bodies of several socially oriented organisations that work in the Portuguese-speaking African countries.
He is a consultant on international affairs.
• Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Porto Catholic University, and he attended Higher Studies in Media.
